Have you ever been to Old Town Sacramento in Northern California? It’s an awesome place to spend the day, with so many things to see and do. Although I’ve been there many times, I always seem to discover something new each time I visit. On my last trip, I stumbled across this sweet little art gallery that I never would have known was there. It’s a collaborative space filled with everything from paintings and photography, to pottery and painted gourds. Over 30 local artists contribute their art and time to the gallery, making it a very special place to find unique pieces that were made right here in Northern California. I was so lucky to meet Marleen Hoffman, a local artist who is skilled in painting and photography, among other mediums. She was one of the most friendly and interesting people that I’ve met, and I loved one of her photographs so much that I promised myself I would be back for it. I also saw so many other beautiful pieces, and wanted to share a few photos of the gallery with you today.
There is truly something for everyone here, and this is just a teeny tiny sample of what you will find. I would obviously love to share everything I saw, but I will just say that it’s all amazing and you should visit yourself to see it in person! The space is called Artists’ Collaborative Gallery and it’s located in Old Sacramento on K Street. I hope you’ll check them out next time you’re in Sacramento.
